This week was design week, I was in the design group, so I helped in coming up with some of the assignments and ideas for what the assignments would entail. We came up with the idea of doing a superhero style tattoo assignment and I’m glad we did because it’s super creative. It also showcased many of our classmates talent. The assignments I completed this week can be found below:
This assignment was lots of fun. I used my heroes favorite and most important possession as a tattoo because it's a reminder that without it, he wouldn't be able to help his community.
This assignment (4 stars) was interesting and helped me remember the elements of a good billboard. It is true that Popeye is a good way to get kids to eat spinach because when I was growing up that's what my parents did, so I'd eat it.
This assignment (4 stars) was interesting and harder than I thought it would be. I definitely was expecting something a little easier, but I had a hard time coming up with words to describe my character. I enjoyed the assignment and the final product is pretty cool looking, so I'm glad that I completed it.
This assignment (4 stars) was lots of fun and I learned a lot about different superheroes who I didn't know much about before. The two superheroes who I really know anything about are Iron Man and Spiderman, so I wanted to use them as big parts of the assignment. It was hard to think of heroes who are inventors and rich or brave and rich. However, I did it after a little research into several different characters.
My daily creates are attached below:

I thought my idea for this daily create was creative and funny. I don't have an iPhone, but my sister does and she gets mad when people "ghost" her. So, I thought it'd be interesting it use that terminology as a way to talk about the Willington.

I was interested in this daily create. I had never heard of MOOCs before, so I'm glad I was able to create one and kind of get a feel for what it was. I think it's funny to "create" something that doesn't exist and advertise it as such.

For this daily create, I had a hard time coming up with what my Kryptonite would be. However when I asked a friend, she reminded me that I love dogs and if there's one around, nothing will get done.
Here’s my analysis on the Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou analyses:
I really enjoyed this analysis and was able to relate it to my days as a high school yearbook editor, so it was definitely a fun little throwback. Analysis is super interesting because you don't think about design until you read someone else's analysis on it.
This design blitz was very interesting and helped me to further understand design principles. It was interesting because as I traveled through the airport this morning I was able to analyze the different signs that I saw for different design elements.
Overall, I really enjoyed this week because I was heavily involved in the planning process and have been counting down until it was “our turn to go.” I enjoyed each part of this week and being able to see how my groups ideas came together to create an awesome week!
